I design products that feel obvious — which usually takes a lot of un-obvious work.

I am Robert, a product designer with six years of experience primarily in fintech, and recently I’ve delved into a privacy product of my own creation. The messy early phase of framing the real problem, mapping the system, and finding the simplest solution intrigues me nearly as much as the craft of placing that finishing touch to a project.

Away from the screen, I fill my time with climbing and riding bikes - both of which have taught me to bring patience when faced with tribulation. My remaining time belongs to my two pups, Poppy and Sage, who have mutual high standards unmet by either.
